Adirondack Escape

My dream destination for a summer weekend? THE POINT on Upper Saranac Lake in the Adirondacks. It was built during the era of Great Camps in the late 1800s.  The Point was originally Camp Wonundra, the home of William Avery Rockefeller. There, in the heart of the vast Adirondack wilderness, he lived quietly and entertained with impeccable style.

The Point is now a luxury resort and continues the tradition of treating guests with warm hospitality and grace in a gorgeous rustic setting. It would be a stunning spot for a wedding or a honeymoon.

The rooms look like a Ralph Lauren ad. Yes, please!

The grounds are on a jaw dropping setting right on the lake. Can't you imagine enjoying cocktails and the company of good friends?

A drink at sunset

A crackling fire would be ideal any time of the year. And how nice to have someone else build it for you!
